Who we are

WTC Services S.r.l.s. ("WTC", "we") runs WTC Global Portal and is responsible for the information you give us in this form. You can contact us at eventi@wtcservices.it.

What we collect

Through this form we collect:

• your company’s name, type, business registration number (if you give it), address, sector, main products, and the other optional business details you choose to fill in;
• your company’s contact email, phone number and website;
• the name and job title of a contact person, if you give them;
• the language you used for the form;
• your consent choices, with the date, time and version of the texts you saw.

Cookies and technical data

This form does not use cookies or analytics. Your IP address, together with the email address you enter, is kept in our server’s memory for up to one hour to limit repeated submissions; it is not stored with your registration. Our hosting provider keeps technical records of requests, such as IP addresses, for security and operation.

Why we use it

We use this information on the basis of the consents you give in the form:

• to confirm your registration: we send a confirmation link to your company email. The link is personal: until it is used or expires, anyone who has it can see the details you entered, so please do not forward it;
• to publish your company on WTC Global Portal and give buyers your company’s business contacts (email, phone, website), as you agree in the form;
• to check your registration: we compare your company’s name and the domain of its email and website with company information we already hold, for example from trade fair catalogues, to find possible duplicates; our staff then link it to an existing company or reject it. No decision is made automatically;
• to send you news and offers from Global Portal, only if you tick the optional box.

Who receives it

• WTC staff with a company account;
• buyers using WTC Global Portal: your company details are published and its business contacts (email, phone, website) are provided to them. The contact person’s name and job title are never given to buyers;
• the service providers that host our systems, store our data and send our emails, acting on our behalf.

Where it is stored, and transfer outside China

Your information is stored in a database located in the European Union (Ireland). Some of the service providers mentioned above are companies based outside the European Union. If your company is located in China, the information you provide in this form is transferred outside China: it is stored in the European Union and provided to buyers who may be located outside China.

How long we keep it

• unconfirmed registrations: the confirmation link expires after 72 hours, and the unconfirmed registration is then deleted automatically (within one day);
• registrations rejected by our staff: deleted automatically 30 days after the rejection (within one day);
• confirmed registrations, including those linked to a company already in our records: kept as long as your company is listed on WTC Global Portal, or until you ask us to delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, and withdraw any consent at any time, by writing to eventi@wtcservices.it. If you withdraw the consent to be listed, we remove your company from WTC Global Portal; withdrawing a consent does not affect what was done before.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

Changes

This is a provisional notice. If it changes, we will publish the new version on this page.
